John Gay

John Gay (1685-1732) was a poet and dramatist and member of the Scriblerus Club. He is best remembered for The Beggar's Opera (1728), his ballad-opera set in London's criminal underworld while satirising contemporary politics and politicians.

Pam Gems (1925–2011) was an English playwright, the author of numerous original plays as well as of adaptations of works by major European playwrights of the past. She is perhaps best known for Stanley, about the painter Stanley Spencer, and her musical play Piaf, about the French singer Edith Piaf.

Lewis Grassic Gibbon was the pseudonym of James Leslie Mitchell (1901–1935), a Scottish writer, author of the trilogy of novels known as A Scots Quair, comprising Sunset Song (1932), Cloud Howe (1933), and Grey Granite (1934).

Anita Gilbert

Anita Gilbert trained as an actor before becoming an actors' agent. She now works as a professional voice and accent practitioner through her business Speakeasy Voice and Accent Coaching, and is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire.

With Letty Butler, she is part of the duo Bert & Butler, founders of the actor training programme 'The Jobbing Actor'. She is co-author of The Jobbing Actor: A Coaching Programme for Actors published by Nick Hern Books.

Ned Glasier

Ned Glasier is the founder and artistic director of Company Three, a London-based theatre company working with young people. He has created more than forty plays with young people, including Brainstorm at the Park Theatre, National Theatre and BBC iPlayer, Boat at Battersea Arts Centre and two major international projects during the COVID pandemic: The Coronavirus Time Capsule and When This Is Over.

Alongside his work making plays with young people, Ned leads training in the practice of co-creation, teaches on university courses, and works as a consultant supporting organisations to listen to, support and enable young people.
